Imina Technologies SA is a high-tech SME that develops, manufactures and markets high-precision robotic solutions for the characterization of samples under a microscope. Our customers are semiconductor industry scientists and engineers responsible for testing and quality. For more than 10 years, hundreds of our devices have been installed in more than 25 countries around the world and integrated into flexible and efficient measurement flows and help make electronic devices safer.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our R&D team and take charge of the entire development of our software suite. In this position, you will be responsible for all software components of our products, from their definition to their deployment and maintenance. You will thus play an important role in the development of innovative robotic control and process automation solutions at the micro and nanoscale. In addition to taking a concrete part in software development, you will coordinate the work of other team members by implementing agile practices such as code reviews, paired programming, and continuous integration and deployment that are part of our software development culture.

To succeed in this position, you should be able to demonstrate the following professional experience and abilities:

  • 5+ years in software development for the control of specialized capital equipment
  • Perfect command of C++ and C# languages and object-oriented programming
  • DevOps practices (CI/CD, version control, agile, …)
  • EPF / ETH engineering degree or equivalent
  • Oral and written proficiency in English (C1 level), French is a plus

Ideally, your qualifications also include experience with:

  • Microsoft development environments (.NET, WPF)
  • Computer vision and robotics
  • Optical and electron microscopy
  • Real time applications
  • Semiconductor industry processes
  • Working in regulated environments
