Imina Technologies develops, manufactures and markets high-precision robotic solutions for micro- and nanoscale manipulation and electrical characterization. Hundreds of our systems have been installed in more than 25 countries around the world.

To support our growth, we are looking for a Sales Engineer with an extensive technical and scientific background, which is crucial in finding suitable solutions for our customers’ needs. Enthusiastic and result-oriented mindset are key for building relationships with the new customers and for promoting our products and services to them.

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation. You will participate in exhibitions, workshops, and webinars to increase the awareness about Imina Technologies and to get new leads. You will also search for new potential customers who could benefit from our products and services in selected regions and markets.
  • Lead conversion. To reach turnover targets, you will closely collaborate with Application Engineers. You will give presentations to potential customers and have technical discussions with them to confirm that we can offer the right solution. You will prepare quotations, negotiate deals and monitor the purchasing process.
  • Relationships management. You will build and maintain relationships with the customers before, during and after sales to make sure we provide best possible service and to generate more revenue from the existing customers.
  • Monitoring the market. You will keep track of the competition landscape, new developments, and trends.

To succeed in this position, you will need the following experience and skills:

  • MSc or PhD degree in physics, electronics, materials science or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience as an application or sales engineer for technical and/or scientific equipment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in using CRM tools.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Ability to travel worldwide up to 50% of the time.
  • Full proficiency in English (C1 level).

Ideally, you also have experience with:

  • Electrical characterization and failure analysis equipment.
  • Electron microscopes (SEM, FIB, Dual Beam) and related accessories.
